Fishing For Miracles, which was established in 1994, raised more than $1,000,000 for children's charities. Muckenfuss was a businessman and Dennis Lee an offshore fisherman. It attracted 288 boats during its peak year. Although the number of participants has decreased, in 2018, there were only 118 boats. Participants can bring their children with them.
